I guess the question is, do you go with the Wicker Park schizophrenic with a callous on his forehead caused by headbutting people over his Casio keyboard at shows...or do you vote for the central-Texan who wrote a ten-minute song about King Kong in the basement of his parent's house only to be hailed a few years later as a genius? Up to you...but I want desparately to learn more about the latter, and Jeff Feuerzeig's documentary on Daniel Johnston will be gracing the screen of the (Lagoon?) in Minneapolis this month.
