Yesterday I was initiated into the world of body art by Shahn Anderson of Electric Dragonland. He spent an hour and a half impaling me many, many times per second and in doing so made permanent on me an illustration that dad inked for me up at Lake Shamineau, as recaptured by the series of photos below. I commissioned dad to come up with an image that captures a bunch of motifs that revolve around the Latin phrase SICUT NUBES, QUASI NAVES, VELUT UMBRA.
