REALLY, TRULY affecting change (a house at a time)

Last week was Habitat for Humanity's nationwide "Blitz Build": 500 houses across the country in one week. Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity played their part this year, putting MN on the map (the first time ANY Habitat office participated from our state) with a new home in Elk River for a family of five.

My good friend Anne Walters is something along the lines of the Super-genius-do-it-yourself Resource Development person at Central MN Habitat, and she basically ran the entire build herself (although she won't admit it)...

Anne herself won't admit the work that went into it. Instead she'll pass the kudos on to her fellow Habitat staff members and the builders who donated their time to the project. That's what's so great about Anne. (one of the things, anyway.)
