The SCSU men's Ultimate team took on the returning alumni in the annual fall tradition in St. Cloud this weekend. Behind Talahi the old guys won 21-16-ish, but not without out fair share of cramps, timeouts and swigs from the bottle of Rumple Mintz. The scrappy young guys didn't go deep much, and we did. Lots.
i wore my red visor for good luck. it was breezy so the lazy alumni played zone most of the time, but those kids are wiley and Jack Jack and Quinn handled them out of a lot of stuck situations. With TO and Winey hobbled, getting Naz out of jail to play with the alumni was our ringer move.
i won the winning score on a huck from TO, i think...Garrett mauled me in the endzone so i almost spiked it at him as he lay on the ground. But i am a nice guy. Scrappy youngins....
